What is an ACT Crash Course?
In the 4-hour crash course from 10 a.m.- noon and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., you will learn how to approach each of the sections of the ACT. We will go over the content you need to know for the English and math sections as well as the tricks that ACT writers use to mislead you. You will learn what is really being tested in Reading and Science so that you are spending your time looking for the right things. We will also address general strategies and time management. The cost is $100. I encourage you to get a copy of The Official ACT Prep Guide for further practice. This class will be online.

I will teach you how to approach each of the sections of the ACT. We will go over the content you need to know for English and math and the tricks they use to mislead you. You will learn what is being tested in Reading and Science so that you spend your time looking for the right things. We will also address general strategies and time management. Students will receive a practice book for practice between sessions.
Cost: $150
PRIVATE ONLINE TUTORING
Learn these strategies and get one-on-one tutoring through online sessions. It's easy! Contact me at coxactprep@gmail.com, and I'll send you a link. Payment can be made easily through PayPal or Venmo in the convenience of your own home.
You'll be able to see and hear me, and I can write on a whiteboard too. After we go over strategies for each section of the ACT, you'll practice passages, and we will analyze your work to help improve your performance!
You will need a reliable internet connection and a copy of The Official ACT Prep Guide (any year). You can find a copy on Amazon or at your local bookstore. I charge $40 per hour long session.

ABOUT ME
Hi! I am dually certified in math and English, and I have been teaching and coaching math team for over twenty-five years. As an educator and parent of five children of my own, I have seen first hand how ACT scores can open doors of opportunity for students. It has been my pleasure and privilege to help students raise their scores, see them get into their dream schools, and know that many of these students will be able to enter adulthood debt-free. It is my hope that through these one-day classes, I can share what I have learned to help more students prepare for college.
