What is Superscoring?

ACT will start reporting a superscore in September of 2020. This will be the combination of the highest score you've made on each section of the test. They will then start offering single subject tests. This could make a huge difference for students who need to focus on just one test or focus better one test at a time. At this point, most universities haven't announced whether they will take the superscore, so I'd take several entire tests until you are confident that your final college will accept the superscore. Once the individual test are available, I plan to offer single subject classes as well.

WILL YOU TUTOR MY STUDENT PRIVATELY?

Yes! Where my schedule used to be too full, due to COVID-19, I am almost exclusively tutoring privately online now. I would be happy to help you use this time to prepare for the ACT! The fee is $35/hour. Contact me to set up a schedule. Payment is done through PayPal.

HOW MUCH DOES THE CLASS COST?

When classes resume, the crash course cost is $100 with a $5 online processing fee and is due when you purchase the ticket. After the first class, students may retake the class if needed for $25 (+ $5 fee) with a return student ticket, but they must bring their book with them. There are no refunds on tickets, but once you purchase the first one, you may purchase return student tickets an unlimited number of times. Other classes will vary in cost based on the length and usually don't include a book.

DOES BUYING A CRASH COURSE TICKET REGISTER ME FOR THE ACT?

No. This ticket is just for the crash course. You still need to register for the ACT on their website: http://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act/registration.html
